* تعريف بالبرنامج *

في‌ إل ‌سي مديا بلاير (بالإنجليزية: VLC media player‏)
هو مشغّل وسائط حر، يشغل مختلف صيغ الصوت والفيديو وأقراص دي في دي وفيديو ويدعم
مختلف برتوكولات البث الحي، ويستطيع هذا البرنامج أيضا أن يستخدم كخادم للاتصالات الحية
أو الوسائط المتعددة في IPv4 وIPv6


بدأ البرنامج عام 1999 من فريق يديولان وكان من تأليف طلبة مدرسة الهندسة في فرنسا ثم
طور فيما بعد في أكثر من 20 دولة، هذا البرنامج هو تحت رخصة جنو العمومية ويمكن نشره مجانا.

VLC media player is a powerful and easy to use application that can play MPEG-1,
MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 / DivX files. This software can also be used as a server to
stream in unicast or multicast in IPv4 or IPv6.
VLC media player is a highly portable multimedia player for various audio and
video formats as well as DVDs, VCDs, and various streaming protocols
without external codec or program. It can also be used as a server to stream
in unicast or multicast in IPv4 or IPv6 on a high-bandwidth network.


What's New in VLC Media Player 1.1.3:

Demuxers:
- Avformat fps displaying fix
- TS, fix an issue where some programs would get dropped (fixes DVB issues too)
Audio filters:
- fix timestamps handling on some filters that provoqued issues when playback
of mono streams, especially on Windows
Windows:
- fix a bug in direct3d video output with old nVidia drivers that broke
video playback with overlay (YUV->RGB)
- fix console output encoding
Interface and extensions:
- Youtube and other scripts updates
- Misc fixes in Qt4 (especially VLM and EPG dialogs) and MacOS interface
