CNN Turk quotes Turkish minister saying diplomatic immunity helped killers transport dismembered corpse
The killers of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi may have taken his dismembered body out of Turkey in luggage, the Turkish defence minister, Hulusi Akar, has been quoted as saying by broadcaster CNN Turk.
Khashoggi, a US resident and Washington Post columnist, was killed in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on 2 October (https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/oct/21/death-of-dissident-jamal-khashoggi-mohammed-bin-salman), sparking global outrage against the kingdom and its de facto ruler, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
